Years ago, three longtime friends left behind fast-paced corporate careers with a shared frustration: food had become more processed than personal.

They weren’t chefs or marketers. They were just tired of the lies, the half-truths, the cosmetic upgrades dressed up as health. So they decided to do SOMETHING that’d change EVERYTHING that’s wrong with food. 

They chose to do the obvious thing no one else was doing: Go back. Unlearn. Ask how food was supposed to be made — and start there.

That’s where Khetika began.

  • Direct from Farmers

    We source directly from farmers. No middlemen involved. Not because it looks good for a brand to have this tag but because we want to get things right. That happens by ‘knowing’ and ‘controlling’ every aspect of the food’s journey, from the farm to your plate. It further helps ensure purity of food at every stage. 

  • Single-source Procurement

    At Khetika, we pride ourselves for the quality of our products. It is not just a parameter, a way of life for us. Quality comes from consistency, which we ensure through single-source procurement. Everything at Khetika, be it the batters, chutneys, spices and nuts is made using ingredients from a single source that is specific to the product. Our chillies come from Guntur, Haldi comes from Sangli and so on.

    We source each ingredient from the region where it naturally grows best. This ensures the crop matures in the right climate, soil, and altitude, giving it the flavour, aroma, and nutrient profile nature intended. You can taste the depth in every grain, spice, or pulse — because it hasn’t been mixed or diluted. The origin also guarantees the quality and premiumness of the final product, adding to the sensory experience you get the moment you open our products. 

  • Traditional processing

    We grind spices, batters and chutneys using traditional slow stone mills, without friction-based heat. This preserves the essential oils in spices — the compounds that give them their aroma, flavour, and health benefits. Unlike commercial heat grinding, our method keeps spices alive. Open a pack, and you’ll smell the difference before you even taste it.

  • Honest Shelf Life

    Because our food isn’t chemically preserved or treated, it has a naturally shorter shelf life — and that’s by design. We produce in smaller batches and distribute fast, so what you get is fresher, more potent, and closer to its original form. If it lasts shorter, it means it’s made right. That’s the kind of expiry date you can trust. No chemicals to extend life. No food that pretends to be fresh long after it should’ve expired.

    We follow Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for raw materials and use pasteurised RO water for batters — no artificial preservatives, no polishing, no additives, ever. We don’t use blended batches or lower-grade stock. Every Khetika product is made from top-grade, unpolished, unmixed ingredients that meet strict quality standards. This means honest, clean food with nothing hidden and nothing added that shouldn't be there.

    We choose what’s correct over what’s convenient. That means hand-sorting grains, slow grinding, avoiding polish, and sourcing directly — even if it takes more time and effort. It may not be the most cost-effective route, but it’s the one that respects the ingredient. And that makes all the difference on your plate.
